How to Play Pot Limit Golf

Every hole is a hand. Every shot is a decision. The pot grows with each bet, and the lowest score takes it all. Play for any stakes, any skill level. For every golfer who loves competition.

THE MONEY FORMULA

Max Bet = Current Pot

Ante Up or Shut Up

Every player throws in the ante before the tee shot. That's your entry fee to the battlefield. The combined antes form the starting pot. Then the real fun begins — bet before every shot: off the tee, from the fairway, on approach, and on the green. No hiding.

Check

Pass without betting. Playing it safe? Fine. But don't be surprised when someone pots it in your face and you're left scrambling.

Call

Match the bet. The bare minimum to stay alive. You're not winning any respect with a call, but at least you're still in the fight.

Pot

Go maximum. Bet the entire pot. That's the ceiling — the current pot becomes your bet. Pot it strategically to put maximum pressure on your opponent's next shot, force a fold, or make them pay to stay in the hand. This is where legends are made and pretenders get exposed.

Fold

Finish the hole, but your money stays in the pot. You're out of the betting action for this hole, but your cash is still in play.

Winner Takes All

Lowest score on the hole takes the entire pot. Period. If players tie, they split the pot evenly — no carryover, no drama. Next hole resets clean. Come correct or don't come at all.

The Origin Story

For Every Golfer Who Loves
Competition

Pot Limit Golf is for any golfer who loves competition — whether you're playing for $1 or $100. From casual rounds with friends to high-stakes tournaments, PLG brings the strategic depth of poker to every hole. Play for any stakes, any skill level.

Every hole is a hand. Every shot is a bet. Reading your opponents matters as much as reading the green. Will you check and play it safe like a coward, or pot it and put everyone's wallet on the line? The choice reveals who you really are.

We're bringing PLG to courses everywhere through YouTube content, live tournaments, and our calculator app built for licensing to golf platforms worldwide. This isn't a side bet — it's a movement. Get in or get left behind.

For the Gambler in Golf

Buy-In

2,500 Chips Per Player

Every player starts with the same 2,500-chip stack. Your bankroll. Your ammo. How you spend it determines if you survive.

Front 9

Foursomes — 9 Holes of War

Four players per group. Bet chips from your stack before every single shot. Lowest score takes the pot each hole. Pot it to pressure your opponents, force folds, and dominate the next shot.

The Break

Add-On, Rebuy & Blinds Go Up

After 9 holes, players can add-on or rebuy chips. Then the blinds and antes increase — the pressure ratchets up and scared money gets exposed.

Back 9

New Opponents, Higher Stakes

Groups rotate. Fresh matchups. Higher blinds. The chip leaders start flexing and the short stacks start sweating. After 18 holes, blinds go up again.

Final Table

Top 4 — 3 Holes for Glory

The top 4 chip leaders after 18 holes advance to the Final Table. Three more holes. Maximum blinds. The player with the most chips after those 3 holes is crowned champion.
